The Procura Christmas Party!


Friday was our annual sales awards and the Procura Christmas party bash all rolled in to one – What a day! With the annual sales awards kicking off early morning, our consultants were being recognised left right and center  Bradley Franks won Top Biller of the year and Morgan Frost cleaned up with most deals closed in a month, most growth within a quarter & highest weekly billing. After a few glasses of champagne to celebrate the guy’s success it was time to put the Procura brains to the test – The Procura Quiz! Hannah & Laura hosted 5 rounds of who’s who, lookalikes, general knowledge & a music round, with our brains exhausted it was time to test our physical strength….

After two extremely competitive games of laser quest the team were physically and mentally exhausted! It was time to relax and enjoy our Christmas Party with a few well-earned drinks and some delicious Thai cuisine…………….

Doing it for the kids..........


This year the Procura Team have decided to ditch the secret santa idea and do something a little bit more worthwhile so we have joined up with the Wood Street Mission Charity based in Manchester. Wood Street Mission is a registered children’s charity and their focus remains unchanged throughout their history. They are there to help alleviate the effects of poverty on local children and their families. So with this in mind everyone at Procura has donated a gift.
Kane has even volunteered to drop the presents off  at Woodstreet

The Story So Far..........


So our new starters have come on leaps and bounds since they graduated earlier this month. They have already managed to pull jobs, create some exciting pipeline for January, and build up hot leads. Looks like four weeks in the Procura Graduate Academy has paid off! So what now? Well with two more assessment days underway we are looking to be enrolling class 2 in the Procura Graduate Academy by early December. Not only have we managed to find exceptional graduate Talent for our internal recruitment we have the pleasure of welcoming an experienced member to the team in December also.

So apart from organising the Procura Christmas party extravaganza, training up new talent and pulling lots of jobs, what else have we been up? Well as you may of read earlier in the blog, we have been working hard on launching our new YouTube channel. Last Friday we finished filming some footage that is now in the process of being edited to perfection – so keep your eyes out for films uploaded soon………..

When a new recruit joins our business as a trainee, they spend their first 4 weeks working through our Graduate Academy, this ensures that we are instilling Procura’s values and level of service and also providing them with the best knowledge to be able to perform their jobs:-

Graduate Academy overview:-

Week 1
Classroom training based around Procura, focusing on our Market Sector and how we develop business relationships to a high standard within our core industry sector.

Week 2
Classroom based training based on how we identify the best InDemand Talent within our Industry vertical and how to develop business relationships to ensure we are providing a high level of service for candidates when they are looking for new opportunities.

Week 3
Supported Self Learning, we give new trainees the opportunity to investigate their niche market and understand the key drivers & strategies that effects business need whilst gaining valuable market knowledge.

Week 4
Classroom Training to develop skills in developing key client relationships to enable new recruits to provide the right level of service to their key client base within their niche market.

Once our new recruits have graduated from our Academy, we then provide constant on-going training, coaching and support to our new recruits and also more experienced members of our team ensuring that the level of service we offer to both our candidates and clients is consistently of a high level .


As our new group of new recruits are now in their 5th week of employment with ourselves and are doing fantastically well, we are starting the search again for 4 new trainees to get started in our Graduate Academy.

We are looking for experienced Recruiters both Permanent and Contract who are looking to move their career towards Senior Manager level in a company that is growing and investing in itself.

What's going on?


Procura is a specialist recruitment consultancy for InDemand Talent. We have three specialist divisions; Business Change & Project Services, Governance Risk & Compliance, and Technology. Our value proposition is built upon our "InDemand Talent" model which in essence means we invest heavily in developing a sophisticated network of delivery professionals that are in short market supply. Our core strength is expert talent delivery where others have typically tried and failed.

Procura was founded in 2009 and initially focussed on recruiting interims for the insurance market. Having achieved ultimate success Kieran Maplesden, Owner and Director, decided in March to set up a permanent division for the same market. Noticeably a wise decision as this department is currently thriving.
